Pump Pressure Settings

Pressure Settings

  • This setting defines the pressure threshold for the pump. If the pressure exceeds this value, the pump is considered to be running.
  • When the pump status is On (Pump On), if the pH is above the configured range (pH Range Settings), the system will open the valve to inject CO₂. Conversely, even if pH is above range, if the pump status is Off (Pump Off), the system will not inject CO₂.
  • To configure, run the pump with normal water circulation through the filter, observe the Pump Pressure reading on the Main Screen, and set the threshold slightly below. For example, if the Pump Pressure reads 0.9 bar while the pump is running, set the threshold to 0.8 bar.

The Pump Pressure sensor is installed after the pump and before the filter tank.

Most sand filter pool systems typically show pressure of 0.8-1.1 bar at the filter inlet, but this depends on the relationship between pump size and filter tank size.

Pump Pressure can also be used to monitor filter health. If the filter is clogged with debris, the pressure reading will be higher than normal.
